Verifying Plug & Play compatibility of our electronic strut bypass kit with your 2005-2012 vehicle

 

This kit is plug & play compatible with most 2005-2012 (for newer vehicles please check our other listings). Please refer to the compatibility image on the left. For a direct-fit, plug & play compatibility the connector should look like the connector on our electronic strut bypass module (or the alternate style connector image image), if it looks different (Buick etc.) you will need to purchase a separate, inexpensive universal adapter (see our other listings). Refer to the enclosed, detailed instructions for the full procedure!

Install the 3-pin ride height simulators first, then install 2-pin shock/ strut simulators!

 

Securing the electronic strut bypass module to your vehicle

 

Secure your ride height simulators by looping the included zip ties through the through-hole on the casing. Secure the Strut bypass units using the larger zip ties. A good location for this is the factory wiring harness. It’s already secured to the frame of your car via this clip right here. The best location will vary based on your vehicle, just find somewhere secure to zip tie the bypass in place.

    I searched this product out, after getting “Passive Strut Assemblies” for my Z55 “Autoride” equipped 2014 Tahoe LTZ. It should be noted these will work for the “Magride” Z95 code too.The passive struts assemblies I got wanted me to strip the wires, crip unions to the wires and heat shrink around them. That didn’t seem like a good solution. The area is tight to get into and what if I wanted to go back to the correct strut assemblies??The first set I got of these devices had connectors that did NOT match up to the plugs that I had on the “Level Sensors” and strut assemblies. I submitted the online form for support (with a little trepidation, as it seems a LOT of those forms just go into a black hole and you never hear from anyone) around 20:30 at night.The next day, Adam (I believe the owner) called me up and actually took the time to listen to what my issue was and understood immediately what the issues was: about 1/2 through the 2014 model year, GM changed the size of the connectors (way to go GM) and the parts that I had wouldn’t fit. Adams got me the correct parts out that day, like within 10 minutes I saw a tracking email.This place is legit and WILL support you if you have an issue.I would DEFINITELY buy from here again and have no problem recommending the products to anyone trying to go from the ACTIVE Z55 or Z95 RPO code suspension for a GM vehicle to a passive suspension set up.

    Update: Seller reached out to clarify that the pre 2013 models will need adapters for the rear 2 pin connectors and offered to help with my experience purchasing their product. Overall would still recommend this to others but please note that detail if purchasing for the rear air ride.

    The ease of use and American made Plug and play

    Turned off stabili track and abs sensors and service suspension lights. Ltz 2007 suburban with airshocks conversion to passive. I bought both kits. I had to buy the extra wire to use the height sensors in the back. Once I plugged all 4 sensors in. Looped the air hose like the instructions call for.

    What you need a for better price

    Works great! Make sure you don’t need the plug adapters for the rear shocks so you can order them all at one time. Other than that, truly plug and play.

    Fits on 2006 Cadillac DTS Performance

    I used these for my 2006 Cadillac DTS Performance. For the rear shocks it was a simple plug in to the original connector. No Cutting was required.
