Z55 truck or SUV: the rear plug doesn’t fit?
On 2005-2012 trucks and SUVs with rear air ride, the rear connector is a different style, as noted in the Z55 kit listing description. You need our Z55 pigtail adapter set, which is spliced onto the rear wires. The pigtails come free with our Z55 2-axle kit. If you missed it in the listing description, no problem. Send us a message and we’ll help you get the right parts.
2013 or 2014 model: Z55 or Z95?
GM used both in those years. Check the Service Parts Identification label in your glove box for Z55 (Z55 kit) or Z95 (Z95 kit). Can’t find it? Send us your VIN.
Rear air ride: what do I do with the compressor?
Z55 trucks and SUVs: pull the fuse or relay for the rear leveling compressor. Leave the compressor itself plugged in.
Z95 trucks and SUVs: to remove the air system and avoid air system and compressor related codes, connect (loop) the rear air lines to each other at the OEM splitter to close the loop, as shown in the included instructions.
Service Suspension light still on after installing?
Codes clear within up to 40 ignition cycles, with a scan tool, or by disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes. GMC Denali models also need a Ride Height Trim with a scan tool. See our Service Suspension light guide.
BMW or Mercedes: still no sound or SOS light?
The loop only bypasses the module it’s plugged into. Move it to the next module until the sound comes back and the SOS light clears; that one is the failed part. See our fiber optic loop guide.

How do returns work?

Do you make a kit for my newer truck or SUV?
Our kits cover most 1997-2023 GM MagneRide trucks, SUVs, and cars, listed in Find My Kit. If your vehicle isn't listed, send us the year, make, and model anyway. Customer requests help decide which kit we build next.
