Verifying Plug & Play compatibility of our electronic strut bypass kit with your 2005-2012 vehicle

 

This kit is plug & play compatible with most 2005-2012 (for newer vehicles please check our other listings). Please refer to the compatibility image on the left. For a direct-fit, plug & play compatibility the connector should look like the connector on our electronic strut bypass module (or the alternate style connector image image), if it looks different (Buick etc.) you will need to purchase a separate, inexpensive universal adapter (see our other listings). Refer to the enclosed, detailed instructions for the full procedure!

Install the 3-pin ride height simulators first, then install 2-pin shock/ strut simulators!

 

Securing the electronic strut bypass module to your vehicle

 

Secure your ride height simulators by looping the included zip ties through the through-hole on the casing. Secure the Strut bypass units using the larger zip ties. A good location for this is the factory wiring harness. It’s already secured to the frame of your car via this clip right here. The best location will vary based on your vehicle, just find somewhere secure to zip tie the bypass in place.

    Fits on 2006 Cadillac DTS Performance

    I used these for my 2006 Cadillac DTS Performance. For the rear shocks it was a simple plug in to the original connector. No Cutting was required.

    This is the exact kit to eliminate the MAG ride struts and bypass the suspension module on a Cadillac XLR. You need two kits. One for front, one for rear. It cleared my suspension warning and 80mph limit. Fit the fronts perfectly. Very minor mod to make the rear fit. Clipped the little plastic piece out if the middle of the plug, can see in my pics. Good communication with the seller. Good product, well made. Easy install. Happy customer.

    07 Cadillac XLR worked perfect

    After trying some other kits, that all burned up. Talked to M&P and he was very confident his would not have that problem. Parts are much higher watt capacity than other kits, and he was right. The plugs fit perfectly on my fronts and needed very minor mod for the rears. See my pics. GM uses a lil different plugs in different models so not a big deal at all. Or you could just order his custom pigtail adapters. Well made and easy to install. I did overkill and taped everything up as well as zip tied. These resistors FIXED the service ride control message, and 80mph limit message. Note, for this car you need the full kits, resistors for struts AND resistors for the ride height sensors. M&P was easy to communicate with and made sure i had what I needed. Great kits and great support. 2007 Cadillac XLR

    It works but I had to make the plug fit the connector since they did not match the car (C6 corvette). Made a little alteration to the 2 wire connector and so far it’s working. I had to break the little piece in the center for the cars plug to fit.

    Very easy install on 2007 Escalade ESV

    Whole process was straight forward. Front suspension was plug and play. Since my rear suspension was “air ride” equipped I used their pigtail kit to install the rear simulators, very easy. Also Adam from their customer service off their official website was very quick to respond and helped me out. Will be buying again when I upgrade my corvettes suspension.
