Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit: front and rear
All four corners in one kit: plug-and-play shock and ride height simulators for 2021-2023 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, and GMC Yukon Denali and Denali XL. Not for Silverado or Sierra Denali pickups.
The M&P USA Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit (also called a MagneRide bypass kit) converts both the front and rear axles in one order, so you can replace all four factory GM MagneRide (Magnetic Ride Control) shocks on 2021-2023 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet (Chevy) Tahoe and Suburban, and GMC Yukon Denali and Yukon Denali XL with coilovers or standard passive shocks, without the “Service Suspension System” warning or fault codes.
It includes 4 shock simulators and 4 ride height sensor simulators that plug into the factory connectors at all four corners, with no cutting or splicing. It’s the same parts as two of our single-axle kits, at a lower price. Designed by a US Marine Corps veteran electrical engineer, made in the USA, and backed by our lifetime warranty.
The short answer
- Right kit for 2021-2023 SUVs with MagneRide: Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon Denali, and Yukon Denali XL. Pick by model year: their glove box label still says Z95.
- Not for pickups or Air Ride. It does not fit the 2019-2023 Silverado or Sierra Denali, or SUVs with Air Ride Adaptive Suspension.
- One kit, all four corners. Same parts as two single kits, for less. Only doing one axle? Get the Z45 single axle kit.

What this kit does not fit
- 2019-2023 Chevrolet Silverado (any trim) and 2019-2023 GMC Sierra Denali. These trucks use a different system and connectors.
- SUVs with Air Ride Adaptive Suspension (air at all four corners).
- 2020 and older SUVs: 2015-2020 models use our Z95 kit, and 2005-2012 models use our Z55 kit. 2013-2014 models can be either, so check the code in your glove box.
- Cars: GM cars use our 2013-2018 strut bypass kit, which doesn’t need ride height simulators.
- 2024 and newer: not confirmed yet, so contact us with your VIN before ordering.
Is this the right Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit?
Use this Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit if you have a 2021-2023 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban, or GMC Yukon Denali or Yukon Denali XL with MagneRide, and you are replacing the factory shocks on both the front and rear axles. Only replacing one axle? Use our Z45 single axle kit.

Why the label says Z95
GM uses the option code Z95 for MagneRide on every generation of these SUVs, so a 2021-2023 Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, or Yukon Denali still shows Z95 on the glove box label. The connectors changed for 2021, though, so the older Z95 kit won’t plug in. That’s why we sell these kits as Z45 MagneRide delete kits: choose by model year, not by the label.
One more note on the name: GM uses its own code Z45 for Adaptive Ride Control on 2019 and newer pickups, which this kit does not fit. If a parts list says Z45, check whether it means a pickup or an SUV. GM also changed connector styles partway through some model years, so if your connector looks different from our photos, send us your VIN before ordering.

What’s included
- 4 MagneRide shock simulators (also called delete modules): replace the electronic signal from the factory shocks so the suspension module sees a normal system.
- 4 ride height simulators: keep the ride height sensor circuit reading normally. GM MagneRide SUVs require these to prevent suspension fault codes.

How to install the Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit
- 1Install the ride height simulators first. With the vehicle off and safely raised, release the locking tab on each factory ride height sensor connector, unplug it, and plug in a 3-pin ride height simulator until it clicks. Do this at all four corners.
- 2Cycle the power. Turn the vehicle on for 30 seconds, then off, so the suspension module reads the new ride height.
- 3Install the shock simulators. Unplug the connector from each factory MagneRide shock and plug in a shock simulator until it clicks.
- 4Secure everything. Zip-tie the ride height simulators through their mounting hole and the shock simulators around their neck. Keep all parts away from the exhaust and other heat sources, and do not secure them against plastic wire loom or wiring. A metal surface is best.
- 5Lower the vehicle, clear codes, and trim. With all four wheels on the ground, start the vehicle. Suspension codes clear within up to 40 ignition cycles, with a scan tool, or by disconnecting the battery for at least 30 minutes. Then perform a Ride Height Trim Procedure with a scan tool: required on GMC Denali models and recommended on all other vehicles. Any mechanic or dealership can do it in a few minutes.

Which vehicles does the Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit fit?

My label says Z95. Is this still the right kit?
Yes, for a 2021-2023 model. GM kept the Z95 code on these SUVs but changed the connectors, so the older Z95 kit won’t plug in. Choose the Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit by model year.
Will it fit my Silverado or Sierra Denali?
No. It does not fit the 2019-2023 Chevrolet Silverado or the 2019-2023 GMC Sierra Denali. Those trucks use a different system and connectors, even though they look similar to the SUVs.
Does it work with Air Ride Adaptive Suspension?
No. SUVs with Air Ride use air at all four corners, and this kit does not cover them.
What about 2024 and newer models?

Why does my dashboard say “Service Suspension System”?
The suspension module monitors every MagneRide shock and ride height sensor. When a MagneRide shock fails or is replaced with a standard shock or coilover, the module loses the signal it expects and sets the warning. The simulators in the Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit give the module the signals it expects, so the warning clears once the codes are cleared.
Can I install coilovers or regular shocks?
Yes. That’s what the Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit is designed for. Customers have installed our Z45 kits with aftermarket coilover suspension on 2021 and newer Suburbans with no dash lights.
Is this the same as a MagneRide delete resistor?
It does the same job. You may see these parts called MagneRide delete kits, delete resistors, bypass resistors, delete modules, delete plugs, or shock simulators. Our Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit is a complete plug-and-play set with sealed, weatherproof OEM-style connectors and the ride height simulators SUVs need.
Does this kit cover the whole vehicle?
Yes. The Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit covers both the front and rear axles, all four corners. If you are only replacing one axle, our Z45 single axle kit covers front OR rear.
Does it require cutting wires or programming?
No wire cutting, splicing, or module programming. The Z45 2-axle MagneRide delete kit plugs into the factory connectors. After installation, a Ride Height Trim Procedure with a scan tool is required on GMC Denali models and recommended on all other vehicles.
