Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit: front and rear
All four corners in one kit: plug-and-play shock and ride height simulators for 2013-2020 Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Sierra Denali with Z95 MagneRide. 2013-2014 owners: check your glove box code.
The M&P USA Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit (also called a MagneRide delete kit) converts both the front and rear axles in one order, so you can replace all four factory GM MagneRide (Magnetic Ride Control) shocks with standard passive shocks or coilovers without the “Service Suspension System” warning, fault codes, or the reduced top speed that can come with them. It includes 4 shock simulators and 4 ride height sensor simulators that plug into the factory connectors at all four corners, with no cutting or splicing. It’s the same parts as two of our single-axle kits, at a lower price. Designed by a US Marine Corps veteran electrical engineer, made in the USA, and backed by our lifetime warranty.
The short answer
- Right kit if your glove box label shows Z95 on a 2013-2020 Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, or Yukon, or a 2013-2018 Sierra Denali. 2013-2014 models can be Z95 or Z55, so check the label first (see below).
- One kit, all four corners. Same parts as two single kits, for less. Only doing one axle? Get the Z95 single axle kit.
- No cutting, splicing, or programming. Plug in at each corner, clear the codes, and the warning and speed limit go away.
- 2021-2023 SUV? Its label also says Z95, but it takes the 2021-2023 (Z45) kit. Need more detail? Read our Z95 MagneRide bypass guide.

Is this the right Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit?
Use this Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit if you have a GM truck or SUV with the Z95 MagneRide suspension package (see the fitment table below) and you are replacing the factory MagneRide shocks on both the front and rear axles.
Use a different kit if
- You’re only replacing one axle (front OR rear): use our Z95 single axle kit.
- Your vehicle is a car (Camaro, Corvette, ATS, CTS, XTS, SS): use our 2013-2018 strut bypass kit. Cars at stock ride height don’t need ride height simulators. If your car is lowered or raised outside the factory range, some models need them, so contact us first.
- Your SUV is a 2005-2012 model with Z55 AutoRide: use our Z55 bypass kit.
- Your SUV is a 2021-2023 model: use our Z45 bypass kit.
Not sure which package you have? Check the Service Parts Identification label in your glove box for the code Z95, use our Find My Kit tool, or send us your year, make, and model and we’ll confirm the right kit before you order.
2013 or 2014 model? Check your code
GM used both Z95 MagneRide and Z55 AutoRide during 2013 and 2014, and changed connectors partway through some model years, so the year alone won’t tell you which kit you need.
- 1Open the glove box and find the Service Parts Identification label, a sticker covered in short 3-character codes.
- 2Look for Z95 (use this Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit) or Z55 (use our Z55 kit).
- 3Can’t find the label or the code? Send us your VIN and we’ll confirm the right kit before you order.
Before you buy parts, enter your VIN in the NHTSA recall lookup to check for open safety recalls; recall repairs are free at a dealer.
Covers both axles
This Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit converts the front AND rear axles, all four corners, in one order. Only replacing one axle? Get our Z95 single axle kit instead.
What’s included

- 4 MagneRide shock simulators (also called delete modules): replace the electronic signal from the factory shocks so the suspension module sees a normal system.
- 4 ride height simulators: keep the ride height sensor circuit reading normally. GM MagneRide SUVs require these to prevent suspension fault codes.
- Zip ties for mounting, plus printed installation instructions.

Z95 MagneRide fitment
Plug and play for the following vehicles equipped with the Z95 MagneRide package. Where it says check label, GM used more than one system in those years, so confirm Z95 on your glove box label first.

| Years | Make | Model | Glove box label |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2013-2014 | Cadillac | Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT | Check label (Z95 or Z55) |
| 2013-2014 | Chevrolet | Tahoe, Suburban | Check label (Z95 or Z55) |
| 2013-2014 | GMC | Yukon, Yukon Denali, Sierra Denali | Check label (Z95 or Z55) |
| 2015-2020 | Cadillac | Escalade, Escalade ESV | Z95 |
| 2015-2020 | Chevrolet | Suburban LTZ, Suburban Premier | Z95 |
| 2015-2020 | Chevrolet | Tahoe LTZ | Z95 |
| 2015-2020 | GMC | Yukon Denali, Yukon Denali XL | Z95 |
| 2015-2018 | GMC | Sierra 1500 Denali | Z95 |

Label says Z55? Use our Z55 kit instead. One Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit covers the whole vehicle. Can’t find the label? Send us your VIN.
Customer-reported fitment: customers have also used our Z95 kits successfully on the 2013 and 2014 Cadillac Escalade and the 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe RST. Vehicle not listed? Contact us to confirm before ordering.
If your shock connector looks different from the one in our photos, send us your year, make, and model before ordering and we’ll help you check.
How to install the Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit
- 1Install the ride height simulators first. With the vehicle off and safely raised, release the locking tab on each factory ride height sensor connector, unplug it, and plug in a 3-pin ride height simulator until it clicks. Do this at all four corners.
- 2Cycle the power. Turn the vehicle on for 30 seconds, then off, so the suspension module reads the new ride height.
- 3Install the shock simulators. Unplug the 2-pin connector from each factory MagneRide shock and plug in a 2-pin shock simulator until it clicks.
- 4Secure everything. Zip-tie the ride height simulators through their mounting hole and the shock simulators around their neck. Keep all parts away from the exhaust and other heat sources, and do not secure them against plastic wire loom or wiring. A metal surface is best.
- 5Lower the vehicle, clear codes, and trim. With all four wheels on the ground, start the vehicle. Suspension codes clear within up to 40 ignition cycles, with a scan tool, or by disconnecting the battery for at least 30 minutes. Then perform a Ride Height Trim Procedure with a scan tool: required on GMC Denali models and recommended on all other vehicles. Any mechanic or dealership can do it in a few minutes.
We recommend installation by a certified technician. Full printed instructions are included with every Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit. Questions during installation? Contact us.

Frequently asked questions
Which vehicles does the Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit fit?
2013-2020 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet (Chevy) Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Yukon and Yukon Denali, and 2013-2018 GMC Sierra Denali equipped with the Z95 MagneRide package. 2013 and 2014 models can be Z95 or Z55, and some 2009-2012 Escalades are Z95, so look for the code Z95 on the Service Parts Identification label in your glove box.
Is my 2013 or 2014 truck Z95 or Z55?
It could be either. GM used both systems in those years and changed connectors partway through some model years. Check the Service Parts Identification label in your glove box for Z95 or Z55, or send us your VIN and we’ll tell you which kit fits.
Why does my dashboard say “Service Suspension System”?
The suspension module monitors every MagneRide shock and ride height sensor. When a MagneRide shock fails or is replaced with a standard shock, the module loses the signal it expects and sets the warning. The simulators in the Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit give the module the signals it expects, so the warning clears once the codes are cleared.
Will it remove the 80 mph speed limit?
Yes. When the suspension module detects a MagneRide fault, many GM vehicles limit top speed (customers report 80 to 85 mph). Once the Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit is installed and the codes clear, the limit goes away.
Can I use it with a lift, leveling, or lowering kit?
Yes. Customers have installed Z95 MagneRide bypass kits with leveling kits, lift kits, and lowered setups. The ride height simulators send the module a steady, normal ride height reading, so the height change does not set suspension codes.
Is this the same as a MagneRide delete resistor?
It does the same job. You may see these parts called MagneRide (also spelled Magnaride, Magna Ride, or Mag Ride) delete kits, delete resistors, bypass resistors, delete modules, delete plugs, shock and suspension bypass kits, or shock simulators. Our Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit is a complete plug-and-play set with sealed, weatherproof OEM-style connectors, so there is nothing to cut, solder, or crimp.
Does this kit cover the whole vehicle?
Yes. The Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit covers both the front and rear axles, all four corners. If you are only replacing one axle, our Z95 single axle kit covers front OR rear.
Does it require cutting wires or programming?
No wire cutting, splicing, or module programming. The Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit plugs into the factory connectors on supported vehicles. After installation, a Ride Height Trim Procedure with a scan tool is required on GMC Denali models and recommended on all other vehicles.
Does it work with rear air suspension (air ride)?
Yes. To keep Automatic Level Control working with non-magnetic rear air shocks, leave the rear ride height sensors connected. If you switch to non-air rear shocks, the rear air lines must be connected to each other so the compressor does not run constantly. The printed instructions show how.
Will it work on my car?
No, the Z95 2-axle MagneRide bypass kit is for trucks and SUVs. Cars with MagneRide use our 2013-2018 strut bypass kit.
Still not sure this is your kit?
Use Find My Kit, read the Z95 guide, or send us your VIN and a real person will confirm the right kit before you order.
